NuTek has pioneered the low temperature plating/brazing process for the industry. We have been utilizing this superior process for years in order to maintain the molecular quality of the diamonds we use in our plating process.
Why Low Heat?
We use low or ambient temperatures when we plate because, much like everything else, when you submit subject diamonds to high temperatures, their molecular quality diminishes and the diamonds tend to become brittle and weak. We call this “Back Converting” and the result is low-quality products and inferior results. Instead, our products have the highest performance for cutting even the most difficult of materials, such as glass or metal.
Our low heat process not only minimizes degradation of the diamond during adhesion, but also enables us to coat almost any substrate, including metal, cloth, and flexible screen.
